APPOINTMENTS

We have recently increased the number of pre-bookable GP appointments. It should now be easier to book face to face and telephone appointments to see a GP up to a month in advance.

If you cannot attend your appointment please inform us in advance so we can allocate the appointment to somebody else.

Out of Hours
If you telephone the surgery out of office hours your call will be directed to the Out of Hours Primary Care Centre (run by Go To Doc), alternatively you may contact them directly on 0161 336 3252.

Repeat Prescriptions

Keep and use the prescription counterfoil.
Bring, send, post or fax it to the surgery for your repeat prescription : do not wait until you have run out of medication.
Please mark the counterfoil clearly to indicate which medication you are requesting. If you wish your prescription to be posted to you please provide a stamped self-addressed envelope.

Please allow 2 working days before collecting your prescription. There is no need to telephone the surgery to check your prescription is ready to collect if you allow 2 working days. If there is a problem we will contact you.

If you have mislaid the prescription counterfoil the reception staff will be able to print out a new one for you.

WE WILL NOT ISSUE PRESCRIPTIONS WITHIN 48 HOURS.
